Eight foreign tourists were kidnapped from Colombia's archaeological ruins of the Lost City, near Santa Marta on the Caribbean coast.
Believed to be the work of the FARC, or Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia, it is the biggest mass kidnapping of foreigners in Colombia since 1980.
