Olimpiades Playeral - Huanchaco, Peru

Peruvians claim surfing began with the tortora (reed) boats fishermen use still for fishing off the Peruvian coast. Similar boats are used on Lake Titicaca. Celebrate the Huanchaco Beach Olympics taking place in February.
