Super Sale to São Paulo

Wednesday February 8, 2006
"Delta (tel. 800/221/-1212; www.delta.com) has reduced fares to São Paulo system-wide for travel June 18-28, Monday-Thursday. For example, Boston to São Paulo is $570 round-trip plus taxes, which is about $100 less than other airlines. As with the US Air Central America sale, Delta's fares are very good; but United's retaliatory, we-will-cause-you-pain fares from Delta's hubs are off the hook: $355 round-trip from Atlanta, Cincinnati and Salt Lake City, and of course, to add insult to injury they're for travel through Jan 2 2007, any day of the week. Clearly, United is very, very mad. This is amazing. Note: Rio is just $154 round-trip from São Paulo, so if Rio is really where you want to go then buy two separate fares."
