Monday May 22, 2006
Update May 23, 3006:
Suspect in Natalee Holloway Case Released (AP): A man arrested in the disappearance of an American teenager on the Dutch Caribbean island of Aruba was released from custody Tuesday, a court official said. His lawyer, Gerard Sprong, told Dutch television there was not enough evidence to hold his client.

Authorities have arrested eight people including van der Sloot in Holloway's disappearance and released them for lack of evidence. The latest suspect was questioned three times in Aruba shortly after Holloway's disappearance and twice later by Dutch authorities, Spong said."

Nine days from the one year anniversary of her disappearance on May 30, 2005, another young man was arrested on suspicion of involvement in the murder, heavy battery and kidnapping of Natalee Holloway.

Identified as Guido Wever, who worked as a croupier at the casino in the hotel where Natalee Holloway and her group stayed, the man is the ninth person arrested during the course of the police investigation. Eight others have been released. For details of the arrest in Holland, read Dutch Police Arrest Natalee Suspect (CBS News): "the suspect is a friend of Joran van der Sloot — the last person known to have seen Holloway alive. Van der Sloot says he left Holloway alone on a beach after kissing her."

New Arrest in Natalee Holloway Case (Fox News): "The suspect was arrested Wednesday and is being questioned in the city of Utrecht, Sponge (Gerald Sponge, Wever's lawyer) said. The suspect has not been formally charged. The questioning was to continue Monday, he said. Sponge said he planned to file a suit Monday to prevent his client from being extradited to Aruba."

I personally would not spend one dime of my hard earned money on this murderious country called aruba. From what i’ve read natalie is not their first victim. why should they enjoy our $ when they have no respect for our children, our daughters. aruba is corrupt, stay out of there.
