The Andes draw climbers, treekers and sightseers to the majestic peaks and the challenging ascents. There are very popular climbing spots, and others becoming more so as their peaks are scaled, some for the first time.

The Cajon de Arenales, where the previously unnamed peak, now called Montaña de la Reflexión, Reflection Mountain, is located, is near Mendoza, Argentina, where sports are as big an attraction as the wine.
