Chile: New Images of Gabriela Mistral Revealed (Santiago Times): "The National Library last week opened a new exhibition displaying rare works, interviews and photographs of Chile’s Nobel Prize-winning poet and celebrated feminist, Gabriela Mistral, The new exhaustive collection consists of more than a thousand items, including books about Mistral and writings by her from 1922 until 1997."
Born Lucila Godoy y Alcayaga, Gabriela Mistral, Chilean educator, cultural minister, diplomat, and poet, in 1945 was the first Latin American woman to win the Nobel Prize for Literature.
