Atacama Crossing (Chile) 2007

Atacama Desert Sixteen countries will be represented from Asia, Africa, Australia/New Zealand, North America, South America and Europe as runners are scheduled to compete in the Atacama Crossing (Chile) 2007, "held at least one mile (1600m) above sea level and cover the distance required to make a horizontal crossing of the country of Chile (250 kilometers."

Details of the six stage, 250 km race include starting at Machuga on August 19 and ending in San Pedro de Atacama on August 25.
