Monday July 30, 2007
rainforest flowr Ecuador is a compact country, with most of the rainforest area easiy reached within hours from Quito. Transportation is not the lengthy process it can be in other rainforest areas of South America, making the cloud forest and the river systems an experience at the reach of most visitors.

The Oriente offers rainforests, many rivers, birding, adventure, abundant flora and fauna and ecological research.

Photo of a colorful rainforest flower is displayed with the kind permission of Gabriel Espinosa.
