Colonial Buildings, Paramaribo, Suriname

Once a Dutch colony, called Dutch Guyana, the architecture and cultural influences of the Netherlands remain in colonial buildings of downtown Paramaribo, the capital of Suriname. Click on the link or the photo for more information about this scenic locale.

(1) Don Burton says:

Hello Bonnie - pardon me for using this space to ask you about Sewell. I have emailed you in the past, but lost your email address. I would love to get in touch with anyone who was a kid in Sewell between ‘52 and ‘54. Any help would be greatly appreciated. My folks were Ron and Shirley Burton along with my brother Dick and myself. My folks knew the Payne’s, Lahti’s among others. My Dad was a chemist.

Thanks for your time and any help you can lend.
