Argentina: "Cathedral of Polo"

FEATURE-Despite slowdown, polo is big business in Argentina (Reuters): "Argentina, where it was introduced in the 19th century by the British, is its undisputed center, home to polo's premier tournament, the Argentine Open Championship, and most of the sport's top players."

Well known celebrities maintain horse ranches in Argentina or visit regularly to buy horses and keep up with the sport.
