Without a doubt Chile is home to some of the most beautiful landscapes in the world. Arriving at the Atacama in Northern Chile I was stunned by how such a dry, stark land could be so stunning. It really captured my heart and I have fond memories of my time there.
It is not surprising with the recent news that photography tours have popped up in Peru that it is only a matter of time before one would be offered in Chile. While the Atacama and Patagonia are as far apart geographically in Chile as possible, the one thing they share in common is that they can be quite difficult to photograph well. Snow is incredibly difficult to capture without blowing out the entire image, I know I still struggle with it.
