Andean Experiences has just announced that it is soon opening a new luxury arts boutique hotel in the trendy, bohemian neighborhood of Barranco. A historic mansion built in 1914, it is now being restored to include 17 suites, a private spa and signature restaurant.
Many travelers only stay a night in Lima on their way to Cuzco and Machu Picchu but the city has a lot to offer, from pre-Columbian sites, UNESCO heritage sites and world class cuisine. If you're headed to Peru consider spending a night or two in the nation's capital city.
