Colombia was the first country I visited in South America and it had a lasting impression on me. I came over sea from Panama after spending 5 months in Central America and I wasn't sure how the culture would be different. It was another Spanish speaking country but would the people be the same?
I was surprised and delighted at Colombia, it is colorful, vibrant and the people are so warm and generous. The country is slowly losing its dark reputation and more people are seeing what a wonderful place it is to holiday.
