More and more families are looking to holidays as an opportunity to relax, connect and learn something new. South America is an excellent place to do this as the culture and history is very different but many places are approachable and welcoming to families.
While there are lots of family activities it is unusual to see a family-style retreat. Project Unschool Peru is new to Peru and running for the first time for 4 weeks in June. While unschooling may be new and alternative to some families, the program is available to all teens and families, regardless of their schooling method.
Designed to teach and inspire, it will take place in Peru's famous Sacred Valley and focus on the nature, culture, history and traditions of the country. For more information read more about the 2013 Unschooling Retreat in Peru.
