Tapir

Do you recognize this animal? It is a tapir and one of the many animals you can see in the Peruvian Amazon. While many wildlife lovers go to Brazil to see animals in the Amazon rainforest, the Peruvian jungle is one of the most biodiverse regions in the world and only 3000 travelers visit each year!

If you want to get off the beaten track and deep into the heart of the Peruvian Amazon check out this post about a new tour being offered.
