From Iguazu Falls to Tierra del Fuego, Argentina maintains a number of national parks (PN), natural reserves (RN or AN), provincial or regional parks (PP) and national monuments (NM).

Most of the better known ones are in Patagonia, but a visitor to many of the areas within the country is sure to find a regional national park.

The parks have an impressive variety of eco-environments, topography, flora and fauna, archaeological and palaeontologic importance and climates.

A number of parks are on UNESCO's World Heritage List for natural values. Enjoy these photos of many of the national parks. Included in the link from the photo are facts and details about the parks.

The site is in Spanish, but you'll still enjoy the information.

Buen viaje!
