The Immunity Challenge is a game of walk he plank, with the added tests of filling a canteen, filling a tube until a key floats, unlocking the next plank, getting another key for five locks and planks in all. The first one to retrieve his or her flag and make it back over the precarious planks to the starting plank wins Immunity. Darrah takes an early lead, needing to fill her tube only partway to fit her small hand inside and retrieve her key. She keeps the lead until she missteps, falls into the water and has to start that plank over. Her lapse allows Jon to catch up and they are neck and neck until she manages to move ahead, get her flag and get back to the starting point while Jon fumbles for his last key. She wins Immunity for the third Tim in a row. Burton and Jon share a worried look while Darrah flashes a wide smile.

following Darrah’s win, Jon and Burton escalate their efforts to get Sandra to ally herself with them. Jon goes after Lil who snaps at him and tells him to stop tag teaming her. Later, he talks with Burton and agree she should be he next to go, since she’s exhausted, not working or talking, a “disaster.” Next, Burton talks to Sandra, who convincingly tells him not to worry. Jon scoffs that she’ll do anything to stay in the game.

Lil stays aloof, while Jon sneers at the women, saying they ‘don’t share a whole brain,” and are better off at home peeling potatoes. He says they are foolish that they didn’t talk among themselves while he and Burton were gone.

At the Tribal Council, the jury takes their seat looking clean, rested and well fed while Jeff asks the remaining five Survivors how they are holding up. Darrah says she’s exhausted and elects to keep her immunity. Sandra says they don’t have the energy even to talk. Jon explains how impressed he is with the women, how hard they’ve worked, but admits he’s scared of Tribal Councils since he doesn’t like surprises. Lil says she didn’t expect to get this far and hopes she can hang on three more days. Burton states he feels awful when people are blindsided and voted out, but he has to do whatever he must to stay in he game.

The votes are tallied. Burton and Jon both vote to oust Lil, the three women vote for Burton, who is blindsided by the vote against him. He later wishes Jon well and scolds Lil for breaking the alliance, and says he “hopes she can live with that.” Christa and Rupert exchange high fives and Sandra smiles triumphantly.

Jeff sends them back to camp with the note that the next three days will be interesting. The only problem is that there only the Final Two emerging from the next challenge will go on to the end.

Don’t miss the two-hour finale when the Sole Survivor emerges to win a million dollars. During this episode:

  • Jon still feels confident as the only male among three women.
  • Letters from home bring a Survivor to tears, but one tribemate sees it as an opportunity to turn the rest of the tribe against that person.
  • A twist in the final stretch brings an unexpected battle for the Final Four.
  • Thirty-nine days ago they swam ashore on the Pearl Islands with nothing but the clothes on their backs. Darrah, Jon, Lillian and Sandra have made it this far, but only one will win. Who will be the Sole Survivor? [/]
