Back on their island, Sandra apologizes repeatedly for losing the challenge and says if she's voted off, she'll know why. Jon says the sardine was bigger than Sandra's mind, and complains that Michelle's ego wouldn't let her pretend to be weak. All members express their disappointment that Michelle didn't follow through on her strategy. They speak of what's to happen after the tribes merge. She talks to Rupert, trying to convince him that she works harder than Shawn and eats less than he does. Rupert agrees, and says he'll talk to the others. However, at Tribal Council, after Jon admits they threw the challenge, and Rupert recounts his warning, Jeff Probst cautions them not to get too cocky. Rupert says they'll win if they use what he learned about the Morgan tribe against them. Michelle is voted off 6-1. She votes for Shawn.

Will Rupert's leadership qualities and friendliness to both teams work for him or against him. What do you think?
