Copacabana on Lake Titicaca
Copacabana is known for its fiestas. Holy Week, or Semana Santa brings celebrants from around the country, but the biggest festival occurs in August, a week-long celebration of Bolivia's independence together with the festival of Nuestra Señora de Copacabana on August 5.
