Chiu Chiu Road and Village, Atacama Desert
Although there are paved roads in the Atacama Desert, many of the roads to smaller villages and outlying areas are gravel or merely tracks in the dirt. This is the road to Chiu Chiu, a small agricultural village.
The village of Chiu-Chiu is on the Chilean historic register for having one of the oldest churches, built by the Spanish explorers, in the Norte Grande.
