Playa el Cabo is considered one of Colombia's best beaches. It is located on Colombia's Caribbean coast in Parque Tairona, also spelled Parque Tayrona, one of Colombia's great national parks. With 15,000 hectares, 3000 of which face the sea, and the rest mountains terrain of the Santa Marta range, the park encloses the archaeological site of the Lost City, a favorite destination for trekkers.
