El sendero se inicia en la Sede Administrativa y va por el camino vehicular hasta
llegar a la Guardería lago Grey (18 km) luego por cerros bajos hasta llegar a refugio
Pingo, refugio Zapata, llegando hasta el glaciar Zapata.
The trail begins at the Administrative Center and follows the road to the Guardería, ranger station,
at Grey lake, about 11 miles, then over low hills past the Pingo and Sapata refugios,
or shelters, to get to Zapata glacier.
El sendero da la vuelta al Macizo Paine, primero a media montaña y luego subiendo
hasta los 1.350 msnm, pasando ríos, lagos y glaciales como el Grey, Dickson y Perros.
Tiempo de duración: 7 a 10 días de caminata.
This trail circles the Paine Massif, beginning in the foothills and rising to
4455 ft, passing rivers, lakes and Grey, Dickson and Perros ice fields. This is a
7 to 10 day circuit.
El sendero comienza en la guardería laguna Amarga por una planicie hasta el
campamento Serón, luego continúa por pequeños cerros pasando por el campamento Coirón
y nuevamente por una planicie hasta el refugio Dickson, desde donde se divisa el
glaciar.
The track begins at Laguna Amarga ranger station and crosses the plain to reach
Serón camp, then continues over smallish hills past Coirón camp, then on to refugio
Dickson to see the glacier.
El sendero se inicia en una pampa muy expuesta al viento, luego continúa a media
montaña hasta llegar a los glaciares.
The track is a very windy one, exposed to snowdrift, and heads up mountain to reach
Grey glacier.
El sendero comienza en la guardería laguna Amarga por camino vehicular por 7 km,
hasta la Estancia Cerro Paine (particular), después comienza a subir pasando por
el campamento chileno hasta llegar a las Bases de las Torres del Paine (600 msnm).
From the ranger station at Laguna Amarga, the track follows the road for about 4 miles,
to the privately owned Estancia Cerro Paine, then begins to rise past Chilean camp
to reach the base of the Torres del Paine at 1980 ft.
El sendero comienza en la Guardería laguna Azul, hasta llegar a la laguna Cebolla
para seguir por una antigua huella de vehículos hasta el refugio lago Paine.
From the ranger station at Laguna Azul, the track leads to Cebolla lagoon and then
follows an old vehicle trail to reach the refugio at Paine lake.
El sendero comienza en la Sede Administrativa y va por el camino vehicular por
2,5 km, luego se desvía a la derecha para comenzar a subir la sierra del Toro
(800 msnm) y continuar por pequeños cerros hasta llegar a la Guardería laguna Verde.
From the Adminstrative Center, the track follows the road for 1 1/2 mile then veers to
the right for the climb to del Toro peak (2640 ft) and on over smaller peaks to
reach the ranger station at Verde lagoon.
