Climbing Roraima in Canaima National Park
Camps on the top of Roraima are set up under rocky underhangs for protection from the weather. The pinkish area to the left is known as Los Hoteles but there are no amenities.
Hotel "guests" setting up camp. Everything brought in must be taken out again.
View from camp includes the black top of the tepui, misty clouds and the Gran Sabana. Some tours allow only one day to explore the top of the tepui, but additional days allow for more sights and trails.
