Doctor Calvo Mackenna (1882-1937)

Doctor Calvo Mackenna

Homenaje a su obra médica y social; erigido por el Rotary Club de Chile. Es obra de Lorenzo Domínguez tallado en piedra en 1941. Presenta al médico pediatra con una madre y un niño, se la conoce como la estatua "A la Maternidad".

In 1941, the Rotary Club of Chile erected this monument in honor of Doctor Calvo Mackenna, a pediatrician. The stone sculpture by Lorenzo Domínguez represents a mother and child, and is known as "Motherhood."
