El frontis está entablado a tope de ciprés y de coigüe y los costados con tejuela de alerce, y el techo con planchas de zinc. Es de estilo neoclásico y en su interior hay muchas tallas en madera policromada, un Cristo crucificado que tiene los brazos articulados preparados así para la ceremonia “Del Descendimiento”.

There are a number of painted religious statues of the Virgin and Child within the church, including the one dedicated to Nuestra Señora de Los Dolores, top left. The figure of Christ on this crucifix has articulated arms for the "Descending from the Cross" ceremony.
