Festival of La Tirana - Costumed Dancers
Colorfully dressed, the dancers and the penitentes, or penitents who often walk across the desert to the religious festival, are a large part of La Tirana.
The woman's costume is lavished with embroidery and colored sequins. The tiger and the devil dancers add variety to the dance.
