Church in Huara
This church in the tiny town of Huara dates from the heyday of nitrate production. Today, Huara is the quiet home of shepherds, but back then, it was the place for miners to drink and carouse. The church's interior is wood, but the exterior is covered in calamina, the ubiquitous metal siding prevalent in the Atacama.
