Ciudad Guayana, Venezuela – Expoecoturismo 2003 (www.expoecoturismo.com), the leading nature and ecotourism conference in South America, made several important announcements today including the addition of eco/adventure experts Martha Honey (Executive Director of The International Ecotourism Society), and Lee Hart (Adventure Travel Society) to its already impressive list of speakers. Ms. Honey is a well-respected fixture in the world of nature and ecology related issues while Ms. Hart is known worldwide as a champion of adventure/eco-travel.

The theme of this year’s international exposition and conference is "Ecotourism and Adventure Travel: World Innovations – New Experiences," and will focus on world ecotourism and adventure travel, especially in developing and Latin American countries. The event takes place October 29 through November 1 in Puerto Ordaz, Venezuela.

Conference organizers expect participation from international ecotourism professionals, government agencies, NGOs, academic institutions, students and individuals from Canada, the United States, Japan, Australia, Lithuania, Brazil, Columbia, Mexico and England.
