At the end of the third episode, the men of Tambaqui tribe are definitely disheartened.

It's a lesson in human relationships to watch the men and women of Survivor 6 at work. In Camp, the men are more organized, with shelter and fire in hand, so much so that Rob's boasting about their shelter.

In the women's camp, the Jaburu tribe aren't as well organized. At the beginning of the episode, the camp was dirty and ill-maintained, with bugs in the food and the manioc going moldy. However, once Jeanne called a meeting and a reluctant Deena elected, things improved quickly. Shelter, food and water were the first priorities and as soon as they were attended to, morale improved.

At the reward challenge, in which there were 35 items for personal comfort and hygiene, the first team to match the most pairs won the basket of toiletries. During the match, the men and women flirted and exchanged names. There was laughter as the women won the match and walked off with the prize.

The men grumbled and went back to Tambaqui camp to talk about the women and share their opinions. Alliances between the men are openly discussed, with Dan and Matt speaking Chinese, Rob siding with Dan against Roger and talk of the next man to go.

Meanwhile, the women were bathing in the Amazon in groups. The three youngest, Heidi, Jenna and Shawna, bathed separately and topless. Proud of their bodies, they talked of using their physical attributes to distract the men during the next challenges.

With the next challenge, in which each team had to free themselves from a age secured with rope, knots and keys, Tambaqui started off well, but while they were struggling with the knots, the women of Jaburu moved ahead and freed themselves from the cage.

The men were very much disgruntled and went to the Tribal Council. Only Roger and Dan showed their votes, and not surprisingly, each voted the other off, but when the votes were counted, Dan had 4 to Roger's 1.

So, yes, Dan was the next man voted off. Who will be next? Will it be a man or a woman?

It is interesting to watch the men and women at work. In camp, the men are organized and work together as a team, yet can't seem to win the challenges. The women, on the other hand, up to now have been disorganized in camp, acting separately and individually, but when it comes to a challege, they pull it together.

Will the men do the same?

Keep track of the wins and losses:
