Matt was a strong contender, with Rob strategizing to the end, while Butch did his thing and Jenna fought to keep her focus, stating that she'd accomplished all her goals and was ready to leave.

One of the things I wondered about was after the fire, when all possessions were supposedly lost, where did Jenna get the rain gear, jeans and shirt she had on during the rainstorm?

Jenna hold two new records in the Survivor series: the youngest contestant to win, and the one with the most jury votes. The jury voted 6-1 in her favor. And so, in the Battle of the Sexes, a woman won.

When the votes were tallied and announced later in New York, with the contestants gaining back the weight they'd lost, fresh from sessions at hair and makeup salons, it was hard to equate the polished, assured people on stage with the tough, under-nourished and competitive tribe in the Amazon.

I liked them better in the Amazon. And I wanted Matt to win.
