The Guayana highlands are considered the last frontier of Venezuela because of their isolation and geography. Nevertheless Canaima, Angel Falls and Mount Roraima where access is only by air, is a favored destination. Angel Falls is a must see!
Offshore, Isla de Margarita offers superb beaches, national parks, and a duty-free zone to make this a delightful destination. Margarita Island is a favorite locale for many water sports including scuba, windsailing, and of course swimming.
