Back in the capital, Santiago, the players, now down by two to ten, face two challenges, called missions. The first involves pairing a trusting player with a non-trusting one, placing the suspicious person as the blindfolded driver of a luge sled and the trusting one as passenger. They are sent careening down the luge track. Along the fast ride, the passenger gives instructions, as well as the name and colors of the signs of common Chilean fruit and vegetables displayed on signs by the route. They must not speak after they pass the finish line, where the driver must identify the fruit and vegetables in correct order.
For each one correctly identified, the players receive $2000 USD. Two teams get the answers correct, but their money is deducted from the pot because they broke the speaking rule.
Follwing the luge mission, the players enjoy a spa session, complete with various types of massages. While they are imdulging, the host, Jon Kellley, removes their clothing, leaving shoes and underwear, from their lockers and sends them out for dry cleaning. The players wear their spa robes to find out their second mission: wearing only their underwear, they must beg clothes from people on the street. There is a dress code at the restaurant where they are to meet for dinner, and all players must meet that or be denied entrance.
Two of the men, who have formed an alliance, remain behind, still dressed in their spa robes.
Some of the women are bare under their robes and they get official work out clothes of a top and bottom, to conduct their mission. Their scant clothing draws much male attention, but not much help from the women they ask to donate their clothes. Finally, they get some shirts from men and a woman at a restaurant donates black pants. With a sweater, they meet the dress code and proceed to the restautant.
Some of the men have an easier time, as one of them speaks fluent Spanish and is able to convince the Santiaguinos to give them the clothes off their backs. They go on to dinner. Two others are lost and stumble about the streets of the Barrio Bellavista, a neighborhood known for the French influences in architecture, culture and feel. Eventually they come across a dry cleaners and find their own clothing. In triumph, they dress and go to the restaurant, taking with them the clothing belonging to the other plaers.
The men in robes arrive at the restaurant and are turned away.
Following the meal, the players individually take the quiz and meet in the refurbished Estacion Central, where the host offers a player $20,000 to quit now. No one takes the offer until it is upped to $30,000 USD and one woman accepts. She is escorted out of the station to a waiting vehicle.
The results of the quiz finds the player with the least correct answers, and he is executed and escorted to the car. There are now eight players remaining.
Where will they be next? Who will be executed nest? And who is the Mole?
