Still in the Mendoza area, the players, now down to six with only one woman remaining, face additional physical and mental challenges as they compete in their next missions.
For their first mission, the group traveled by road to the Lagarde Winery, where they separated into two groups: the runners and the thinkers.
Using coordinates issued by one of the runners, based on answers supplied by the thinkers to seven trivia questions, the others runners had to find seven bottles of Malbec wine hidden in the extensive vineyard. The challenge was made more difficult by time constraints and a member of the thinkers team running on a treadmill whith increasing speed at every right answer.
Follwing their exertions, the teams returned to Mendoza to stay at the Executive Hotel on the Plaza Italia..
The next day, the players traveled to a narrow gorge on the Rio Mendoza where a platform extended to one side of a bridge. Equipped with safety equipment, the players, one by one, steeled their nerves and jumped. Their goal was to toss a bag of yerba maté onto a small, square target by the water's edge far below. Just before they jumped the host offered them a chance for an exeption by guessing the amount of money which would be gained in this round. None guessed correctly, so none were exempt from execution.
At dinner that night, with plenty of Argentine wine available, one of the players noted that another was freely imbibing and immediately offered him enough wine to dull his thinking before the quiz. The ploy worked, as the imbibing player was executed and left the game. And now there were five: the Final Five.
Where will they be next? And after an episode full of speculations about the identity of the Mole, can you guess who is The Mole?
The teaser for the next episode shows the players at a subway station. Could you place it?
