Known for many years as Margarita Beach for a sunken ship, Mar de Ajó offers its long beaches, frequently invaded by clams and shellfish. "The Fishing Pier, a 270-meter long concrete structure -the biggest in the Coast District- is ideal to spend an excellent day fishing.

To the South of Mar de Ajó, there is an area called Punta Médanos, where you can enjoy horse or quad rides.

In the city, the La Margarita Shipwreck, El Libertador and el Mar Monument are a must. In the evening, the Mar de Ajó Casino offers broad and comfortable facilities with with roulette and black jack tables as well as varied slot machines.

Car Race Lovers find a special place in "Rubén Luis Di Palma Regional Motor-Racing Track" located in a 360 hectares site opposite the city."
