It's an historical monument and a favorite spot for day trips, weekend getaways and cruises around the delta waterways.

An island in the delta, closer to the Uruguayan side of the river, was once a military outpost, a penal colony and is now a National Historical Monumuent and Flora and Fauna Reserve and a popular attraction for a day outing or a weekend getaway in the delta.

Trilenium Casino, advertised as the largest entertainment and casino center in Latin America is located in the popular resort area of Tigre in the Parana river delta, with easy access from Buenos Aires and all the attractions of the area.

North of Buenos Aires on the Parana River, Rosario is known for its pleasant aspects, many parks and green areas, historical significance as the place where General Belgrano designed the Argentine flag, vivid nightlife and many outdoor and recreational activites along the river.
