The short loop, or Circuito Chico around Lake Nahuel Huapi in Argentina's Patagonian Parque Nacional Nahuel Huapi boasts views of mountain peaks, glaciers, rushing rivers, verdant forests, wildlife, the spectacular lake itself and all-year recreational activiries.
The lake is a remnant of a glacier, offering boating, fishing, exploring, hiking, skiing, and a multitude of other activities. The lake is 2524 ft. (765 m) above sea level. It covers an area of 1288 sq mi (560 sq km), and is approximately 464 m deep. It is 174.8 m(76 kmi) long, and at its widest, 27.6 mi (12km) across

The short loop goes from Bariloche to Llao Llao and is only a half-day excursion, but you can extend it as you wish with boat trips across lakes, treks and climbs up mountains and skiing adventures in the winter.
