Bariloche, formally known as San Carlos de Bariloche, is an all-season destination with scenic beauties, sports, activities, tours, attractions, skiing, top nightspots and quiet out of the way retreats. Known internationally, Bariloche welcomes visitors to Argentina's Lake District.
1. Nahuel Huapi National Park
Parque Nacional Nahuel Huapi boasts views of mountain peaks, glaciers, rushing rivers, verdant forests, wildlife, the spectacular lake itself and all-year recreational activities.2. Cerro Catedral and other Ski Resorts

4. Chocolate
Bariloche is the chocolate center of Argentina and the plentiful shops in town offer enough variety to please the chocoholic. Bike the beautiful half-day 60km route around the lakes. Riding clockwise is the easiest way, but if cycling isn't for you, take a bus and enjoy the views.The longer Circuito Grande includes more lakes, small towns, more great views and a deeper appreciation of the lake district.
7. Museums
Museo de la Patagonia, in the Centro Cívico has a sections for Natural Science, Anthropology and regional history and a room for exhibitions.Other good choices are the Museo del Lago Gutierrez, in Villa Los Coihues and Museo Paleontológico on Costanera Avenue.
