Bike Ride on the World's Most Dangerous Road
Called the world's most dangerous road, the route between La Paz and the small village of Coroico in the Yungas is a narrow, dirt track that has claimed thousands of lives since it was first built. A modern highway is scheduled to replace the road which is a favorite with thrill seeking bicyclists. Enjoy this bike ride with them.
Salar de Uyuni
The Salar de Uyuni in Bolivia's southwestern altiplano is a high-altitude salt pan, considered the largest in the world, and a compelling destination for its wide open, blindingly white expanse, the lagoons with their coloful flamingos, a cacti-covered oasis and the famed salt hotel.
