Called the world's most dangerous road, the route between La Paz and the small village of Coroico in the Yungas is a narrow, dirt track that has claimed thousands of lives since it was first built. Tiwanaku, also known as Tiahuanacu, is the site of the remaining ruins of the pre-Incan ancient Tiwanaku agrarian civilization.
