Starting Point at 4750 m
There are a number of bicyle tours in La Paz that organize and provide the equipment for the rigorous ride over Coroico Road.
Bicycles, helmets, safety inspection and instructions are part of the tour. Mountain bikes with full suspension are preferred.
Tour operators will take you from La Paz to the starting point at La Cumbre, 4750 m above sea level. Due to weather conditions, bike rides are not recommended during the rainy season between December and late February.
