Flamingos at Laguna Colorada

A must-see stop on the tour is Laguna Colorada and Flamingos, seen here.

The flamingos take their coloration from the micro-organisms that form their diet, and they are joined by the annual migrations of other varieties of flamingos, including the rare James flamingos who also like Laguna Honda and Laguna Hedionda.

Be sure to time your trip in mid-morning to Laguna Verde for the spectacular water colors.
