Option 1:Miniques Lagoon - Lejia Lagoon

Enjoy a full day trekking in the altiplano, bordering Miscanti Lagoon and skirt the Chiliques and Leña volcanoes on the way to Lejia Lagoon, a beautiful lake at the foot of Lascar Volcano, where you'll make camp.

Option 2: Horseback ride to Valle de Muerte

From San Pedro de Atacama ride for 2 ½ to 3 ½ hours to Valle de Quitor and then to the Valle de la Muerte to see mountains, salt areas, valleys and interesting rock formations, such as the one known as Tres Marias. Large photo and another large photo.
