Cola de Mono - Monkey's Tail

Condensed milk and coffee sounds sweet and simple, but add poweful aguardiente and this traditional Chilean drink will have you acting like a monkey.
Ingredients:
  • 1 quart water
  • 1 can of sweetened condensed milk
  • vanilla
  • 3 cloves
  • 3 tablesppons of coffee
  • 1 cup of aguardiente 50 proof
Preparation:
Boil, then cool the water. Mix the condensed milk with 2 1/2 cans of the water. Add in the vanilla, cloves and bring to a slow boil for 3 or 4 minutes. Remove from the fire, cool and strain. Add the coffee, mix well and cool again. This mix will keep in the refrigerator until needed. Before serving, add the aguardiente.Serve very cold.
