The dating is traditionally the First Sunday after the first full moon on or after March 21, but the Eatern and Western Christian churches may have a few days difference.
In South America, Easter Week or Semana Santa begins on Domingo de Ramos (Palm Sunday) through Jueves Santo (Maundy Thursday) and Viernes Santo (Good Friday, culminating in Pascua or Domingo de Resurrección (Easter Sunday).
There is interest in having a common date for interest, with dates calculated by Gregorian, Julian, astronomical and Jewish calendars. See the explanation: Towards a Common Date of Easter.
Until those dates become common practice, Easter dates will still vary. The following is a calculation for the Western Christian church calendar and is based on the Gregorian calendar reform of 1582. The Gregorian calendar is the one now used worldwide for civil purposes.
