Casino Rating System
How does the rating system work?

By Bonnie Hamre, About.com

The rating system devised for the South American casinos accepts that each casino will offer a number of machine and tables games. These games are not rated, but a wide selection may be preferable.

What is rated, one star for each:

  • Location - top destination, beach resort, scenic attraction
  • Hotel or Resort - connected with the casino, or conveniently located
  • Restaurant - Snack bar, buffet or complete dining
  • Other services, such as convention facilities, live entertainment
  • Family Activities - something for kids and non-gamers to do while the adults have fun in the casino

Ratings range from 1-5, with five stars being the most fully-rounded complete experience.

    Enjoy!
