Hacienda Yanahurco is one of the Haciendas of Ecuador that offer a true hacienda experience to guests. Hacienda Yanahurco is a private ecological reserve, an exclusive operation for ecotourism including fishing, horseback riding, the annual rodeo, wild-life viewing, bird watching and camping.
The teams are instructed to use the north entrance to Cotopaxi National Park, but some drive on to the southern entrance and have to backtrack, losing valuable time.
Along the way one of the teams gets a flat tire and rather than take the time to fix it, they drive on with a ruined tire.
