El Bolsón proclaimed itself a nuclear free zone and an ecological municipality and the agricultural produce of the area is certainly abundant. In the valleys, like this one, small farms, or chacras produce hops, raspberries, cherries, apples and other crops.
Visitors can get a feel for the bounty of the area visiting the chacras either to observe the daily life or pitch in with farm chores before enjoying a typically Patagonian meal.
