North of Buenos Aires on the Parana River, Rosario is known for its pleasant aspects, many parks and green areas, historical significance as the place where General Belgrano designed the Argentine flag, vivid nightlife and many outdoor and recreational activites along the river.
1. Parque Nacional a la Bandera and Monumento de la Bandera
The biggest attraction in Rosario is the park and monument dedicated to the Argentine flag. The flag's designer, General Manuel Belgrano is interred in the crypt of the monument. The top of the mounment is a great place to view the city, the Parana river and other attractions.

2. Planetarium, Observatory and Museum
The Observatorio Astronómico Planetario has weekend shows and visitors can observe the shies on Tuesday and Thursday nights. Check the times with the observatory theater.3. Parque Independencia
The park is home to several museums, notably the Museo de la Cuidad and the Museo Historico Provincial Dr. Julio Marc. In addition to the museums, the park has sporting areas, notably for soccer/futbol.
The shaded walks, greenery and fountains make the pleasant palce to walk, to see and be seen.
4. Una Ventana al Rio
Located on the Rio Parana, Rosario has many options for enjoying the ater: beaches, boating, swimming and fishing. These boaters have a view of the Parque de la Independencia.
5. Boating
Laarger boats are berthed at marinas on the river, where their owners can enjoy time on the ater, fishing, relaxing and touring the Parana.
6. La Florida Beaches
Located at the northern end of the city, La Florida is a popular spt for beaches, sunbathing, wind surging, kayaking, people watching and catching something to eat or drink at the bars and cafes. the water might not be as clean as you'd like, so check before swimming.7. Golf and other Sports
Rosario's climate lends itself to outdoor activities, such as golf and horse racing as well as marine activities.8. Puente Victoria
The bridge, 59,4 Km long, conencts Rosario and Victoria in Santa Fe province. Before it was buitl, farmers, ranchers and commercial enterprises had to rely on water transportation. Tourism in the region has also benefitted from easier transportation.
