Add this simple olive and onion salad from Chile to your menu collection for an easy to prepare and tasty accompaniment to any entree.
Ingredients:
- 3 onions
- 1 can black olives
- 3 tablespoons vinegar
- 1/2 tablespoon sugar
- 2 tablespoons oil
- salt and pepper to taste
- parsley - optional
Preparation:
Peel and slice the onions into rings. Mix the oil, vinegar and sugar and pour over the onion rings. Coat well. Add the olives, sliced in half, or chopped, and if desired, sprinkle chopped parsley over the salad. Serve immediately.You can use other olives, of course, to suit your own taste.
