Salta, Argentina: Colonial Church, Cachi

From Bonnie Hamre, About.com

Colonial Church, Cachi

Colonial Church, Cachi

Roberto Ingledew
The parish church in the colonial town of Cachi is simple and unpretentious, a marked difference to the colonial structures in Salta. The church was built by the Jesuits in 1684. The colonnaded arches are a typical architectural feature.

Note the cobblestones in the plaza.
